| Shoulder Application - 3 Flex-Ice Straps |
|
There are two methods of applying the Straps
to the shoulder. |
|
|
|
Method 1- (requires two Straps) Join two
Straps together at right angles. Arch both of the other
ends together. Place a Flex-Ice pack and slip up
the arm to the shoulder region. Adjust as necessary |
Method 2 - (requires three Straps) join two
Straps together end to end as you would for low back
application using only two of the velctro strips. With the
other two unused velcro strips attach a third Strap
at right angle. (Facing away-left shoulder application
(Photo 1), towards you- right shoulder application).
Wrap the longer strap around the chest and drape the
attached Strap over the shoulder to be treated.
Join all three Straps together at the front. Note:
the Strap that is under the arm is placed on top
of the other two (phot 2). Flex-Ice gel packs can then
be placed anywhere required. The compression of the
Straps will hold the gel packs in place |
